1. Indian Medical Council .
The Medical
Council of India is a constitutional body in India set up primarily to
establish uniform standards of higher qualifications in medicine and to
grant recognition of medical qualifications in India and abroad.
The Medical Council of India was set up in 1934 under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1933. But with the phenomenal growth of medical education in India after independence, it was felt that the provision of Indian Medical Council Act were not adequate to meet the new challenges. Thus the Indian Medical Council Act, 1933 was repealed and a new act, Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 was enacted. This later act was further amended in 1964, 1993 and last in 2001.

3. General Medical Council UK .
The
General Medical Council (the GMC) is the regulator of the medical
profession in the United Kingdom. It licenses doctors to practice, and
has the power to revoke the license, or place restrictions, in cases of
questions about a doctor's fitness to practice.
The purpose of the GMC is to protect, promote and maintain the health and safety of the community by ensuring proper standards in the practice of medicine.The council was formed in 1858. A practitioner not on the Medical Register of the GMC is forbidden to hold themselves out as a registered medical practitioner in the UK. The GMC regulates medical schools in the UK, and liaises with other nations' medical and university regulatory bodies over medical schools overseas, leading to some qualifications being mutually recognized. The Council is funded by annual fees required from those wishing to remain registered and fees for examinations.

4. Irish Medical Council .
The Irish Medical Council
protects the interests of the public when dealing with registered
medical practitioners. The Council was established by the Medical
Practitioners Act 1978 and commenced operation in April 1979.

The Association was founded in 1946 as the British Association of Plastic Surgeons with the objects of relieving sickness and protecting and preserving Public Health by the promotion and development of Plastic Surgery. The aim of the Association is to advance education in all aspects of Plastic Surgery.
The Association holds scientific meetings, runs training courses, awards scholarships and grants and owns the Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (JPRAS) - formerly British Journal of Plastic Surgery.
